From October 7–10, 2026, Conkote participated in Indonesia International Hospital Expo 2026, connecting with industry professionals and presenting its wound care and personal care products.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase selected products, exchange perspectives with visitors, and observe growing interest in advanced wound dressings and evolving wound care needs.

Understanding Evolving Priorities in Wound Care

Compared with previous exhibitions, Conkote observed increased interest in advanced wound dressings, particularly foam dressings and silicone foam dressings. Silicone gel tapes also attracted more attention during conversations with visitors.

These observations point to a growing interest in wound care solutions that go beyond wound coverage and protection. Hospitals and clinics are paying greater attention to the overall wound healing process, including healing duration, effective exudate management, protection of surrounding skin, and patient comfort during dressing changes.

For healthcare providers, choosing a dressing involves more than considering its primary function. Ease of application and removal, skin protection, and comfort throughout treatment can also influence product selection, particularly for wounds requiring regular dressing changes or for patients with fragile skin.

The discussions at the exhibition gave Conkote a valuable opportunity to better understand these practical considerations. While exhibition feedback does not represent the entire Indonesian market, it provides useful insights for continued engagement with local healthcare professionals and distribution partners.
